Northwest Environmental Studies Academy; 4th Grade Art Students
Celebrating Arkansas as The Natural State, Northwest Environmental Studies Academy fourth grade art students selected the book Arkansas Wildflowers, by Arkansas conservationist Carl G. Hunter as their inspiration and resource. Because their school has an environmental focus, the students created twenty four of the wildflowers featured in this book from recycled plastic water bottles. Eager to create the ornaments and enthusiastic throughout the project, the students were proud to represent their school, the state of Arkansas and be a part of this unique United States tradition.
