Maine’s ornaments were designed and created by artists at Spindleworks Art Center in Brunswick Maine. Spindleworks is a non profit art center for adults with disabilities and a program of the Independence Association of Brunswick Maine, whose mission is to help children and adults with disabilities achieve full and inclusive lives in their chosen community. The ornaments reflect how the artists are inspired by Maine’s natural environment and wildlife, and also speak to the diversity of the media in use at the center.
