Art III/IV students from Bismarck High School, Bismarck North Dakota
North Dakota’s ornaments were designed and created by 11th graders at Bismarck High School. Their inspiration came from historical sites, farming industry, oil industry, national parks, state symbols and ethnic groups of North Dakota. The students tried to capture the spirit of what North Dakota meant to them. The students learned a great deal working with an artist/educator and the various aspects of meeting deadlines and the commitment involved in the entire process. The students are truly honored to have created the ornaments for the 2013 North Dakota tree.
