The Vermont Youth in Transition Grant & The Vermont Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health
Vermont's ornaments were imagined and created by young adults (ages 16-21) involved in the Youth in Transition (SAMHSA) grant. The young adults wanted to showcase "Seasons in Vermont". Young adults involved in the YIT Grant use art as an expression in many ways. One being to reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and another to reduce stigma about being a teenager. The Vermont Youth in Transition Grant is a statewide grant that has supported over 600 young adults in transition.
