Tom Hanks' acting credits include Big (Golden Globe, Academy Award nomination), A League of Their Own, Sleepless in Seattle (Golden Globe nomination), Philadelphia (Academy Award, Golden Globe), Forrest Gump (Academy Award, Golden Globe), Apollo 13, Toy Story, That Thing You Do!, Saving Private Ryan (Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations), You’ve Got Mail, Toy Story 2, The Green Mile, Cast Away (Golden Globe, Academy Award nomination), Road to Perdition, Catch Me If You Can, The Polar Express, The Da Vinci Code, Charlie Wilson’s War (Golden Globe nomination), Angels & Demons, Toy Story 3, Captain Phillips (Golden Globe nomination) and Saving Mr. Banks. He will next be seen in A Hologram for the King, which he is also producing, and recently wrapped production on Steven Spielberg’s Untitled Cold War Thriller.

Hanks has also been honored with the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002. He was later honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center with the Chaplin Award in 2009.
