Los Robles Dual Immersion Magnet Academy
California’s ornaments were designed and created by 7th and 8th grade students from Los Robles Academy in East Palo Alto, California, working with staff and teaching artists from the Palo Alto Art Center. The students found inspiration in California’s native plants and animals. Students sculpted the centerpieces of their ornaments and then used markers to decorate the plastic globe. The Palo Alto Art Center believes that everyone is an artist, provides a variety of programming for local students, and was honored to partner with the Los Robles Academy on this project.
