My student artists discussed and chose to illuminate the wonderful diversity inherent to the State of Illinois: agriculture and industry, natural and man-made beauty, with a focus on the future and with the well-being of our environment and fellow state’s people front of mind. Our medium/technique of choice was to paint the surface with acrylics so that the viewer could take in the beauty of the State of Illinois up close and personal.
