The 2014 ornaments from Louisiana for the National Christmas Tree were designed by Korie Robertson and created by 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders from Dubach School, located in north Louisiana. This year’s ornament design incorporates a duck call, Louisiana’s state reptile, the alligator, and Louisiana’s state crustacean, the crawfish. The ornament also says ‘Joyeux Noel de la Louisiana’ which means “Merry Christmas from Louisiana.” Korie Robertson is a New York Times best-selling author, the wife of Duck Commander® CEO Willie Robertson and star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty.
