Viki Keating
Eastport Elementary School
Maryland's ornaments were created by 3rd grade art students from Eastport Elementary School. The inspiration for the designs by Viki Keating was the diverse nature and aspects of Maryland. The choice of Assateague ponies, Baltimore Orioles, Black-eyed Susans, and Crab, represent the things found in different regions of Maryland. We also added the Maryland flag for proud patriots and the Baltimore Raven for the huge sports enthusiasts of the state.
