Mississippi

Kelly Walters and Maurice Calvert
Mississippi School of the Arts

Mississippi’s ornaments were designed and created by the 11th and 12th grade Visual Art students of the Mississippi School of the Arts (MSA). Students used paint to create both abstract images and images reflective of their state. This is the fourth time the MSA students participated in this project. They are proud to represent Mississippi on the National level again this year. MSA is a residential high school for students across Mississippi to intensively study Dance, Literary Arts, Theatre, Vocal Music and Visual Art.
