Country View Elementary School
The Wisconsin Department of Tourism partnered with Jack Debertin’s 4th grade class at Country View Elementary in Verona, Wis. to concept and create this year’s America’s Dairyland themed ornament. This was an exciting project for Mr. Debertin’s class, which recently took a field trip to the World Dairy Expo in Madison where they learned about cows, milk production and the importance of Wisconsin’s dairy industry. Each student created their own farm scene complete with barn, cows, cheese and grass. On the back, students wrote one fact they learned at the World Dairy Expo and one thing they love about Wisconsin.
