Nolan Williams, Jr. & Voices of Inspiration

Since their debut on the international stage in 2007, performing four major concerts for Italy’s celebrated Amalfi Coast Music & Arts Festival, VOICES OF INSPIRATION (VOI) has emerged as one of the most sought-after choirs specializing in African American music forms. Theirs is a fresh sound, punctuated by their ability to move effortlessly from spirituals to jazz, from R&B to gospel songs. Organized and directed by NOLAN WILLIAMS, JR.—producer, American songwriter, musicologist, and CEO of NEWorks ("NEW works") Productions—VOI has been featured in performance at The White House, the United States Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and with Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Shirley Murdock, Anthony Hamilton, Siedah Garrett, and the National Symphony Orchestra. Williams and VOI have further performed throughout the United States and, in 2012, they were privileged to represent the US State Department as cultural envoys to Egypt. TV credits include the Time-Life/BET infomercial, VOICES, and a concert DVD of the final performance from their Amalfi Coast Tour.
