Jane Lynch

Jane Lynch cut her theatrical teeth at The Second City, Steppenwolf Theatre and in many church basements all over the greater Chicago area. Lynch won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Sue Sylvester on GLEE. Lynch’s film credits include “Julie & Julia,” “Shrek Forever After” and “Paul and Brownie Masters.” Her past film work includes Christopher Guest’s “For Your Consideration,” “A Mighty Wind” and “Best in Show,” as well as “Role Models,” “Spring Breakdown,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” and “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” She recently starred in “The Three Stooges” film. Her other television credits include “Party Down,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Weeds” and “The L Word.” Lynch has had recurring roles on “Boston Legal,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine” and “Two and a Half Men,” for which she received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. Recently, Lynch starred on Broadway as Miss Hannigan in “Annie.” She lives in Los Angeles.
